Went for a 2 days workshop at Jill Lowe International last week..
The workshop mainly taught us how to present ourselves professionally with the use of correct colour & style & make up & verbal & non-verbal languages... i must say the workshop is Very Interesting..!!
Some of the stuff that I have learned from the workshop:
There are 4 categories of colour tone, Spring, Summer, Autumn & Winter. Each category has around 20-30 shades of colour..!
I belong to the Autumn-Summer colour tone...
Only a Winter person looks fabulous in Black...but according to the speaker (Jill Lowe), not many Asian are under Winter category...
I still have no idea what colour tones suit me......... (bcoz the Autumn-Summer colour swatch book cost ard $50+ even after disc...... :/ )
Everyone has either a Straight Body shape or a Curved Body shape or a Soft Straight Body shape...
I have a straight body shape... Famous ppl who has straight body shape is Fann Wong & Maggie Cheung..!! :D
Straight body looks good in stripes & stiff & sharp edges clothes & accessories.. Curved body looks good in clothes in soft materials & round edges & circle design....... ( I got a number of clothings with curves design..... :/)
Carrying a smaller bag looks more sophiscated then a big bag...
When carrying 2 bags... one bag should be one the shoulder whilst the other should be carry by hand...
Accordingly to Jill, Jeans are for farmers... & not allowed to b worn unless you are going to area with soiled ground..... (duhz..)
Sockings is equivalent to a lady undergarment..! In Japan, if a woman didn't wear socking, it means that she is working in the red light zone....!
Thou should not wear sockings with opened-toes shoes..!
The shorter your hair, the more intellectual you will look........

I score lowly on the antioxidant test.......meaning i got to eat more fruits & vegetables & take vit c pills.... :/
Those with Oily skin will have lots of pimples in their youth but better skin when they are old.... those with dry skin will looks fantastic in their youth but easily wrinkled skin when they aged.... those with Normal skin are damm lucky....
I'm blessed with Normal skin..!! (She said i'm a good girl! heehee!)

Treated mom to Paragon's Spageddies for dinner yty & gave her a Guess wallet..... (it was her birthday.....me v fillial rite.... heehee... :p )
