Caught the blockbuster last Friday night!
I like it! Although I vaguely remember that some of the details are not in accordance to the book. But feel that the story still flows well... Maybe my memory of the book is quite vague now..so didn't feel disappointed with the missing scenes..hahaa..
Had a super malu experience after the movie...1st time puke inside a cinema..! Some more its a big cinema with JC's friends around..! #_# The result of finishing the nacho & cheese all by myself... Sigh~!
but luckily I managed to make it to the big garbage bag before emptying my stomach contents in... *Eeewww*
Think the girl holding the bag was super stunned..! Poor girl.. but its better then I dirtied the floor and she got to clean it up right.. Haha!
Anyway..no more nacho & cheese! at least not in the near future.. =P

Thoughts on Vices
All vices are of course undesirable...especially the serious one like abuse of alcohol, gambling, sexual promiscuity etc...
But nobody is perfect right?
Since nobody is perfect...which vices is the most tolerable for you?
I haven't met anyone who needs to drink till drunk every other day or has an insatiable appetite for sex or change gf/bf like clothes... but I have known of people who are sinking in the pool of gambling & debts...
Maybe its because I'm a Chinese, and it is quite a known fact that Chinese love to gamble...In almost every Chinese family, there will certainly be some one who dabbles in some form of gambling... I was exposed to gambling since I was very young, remember hearing the sound of people playing mahjong every weekend while staying over at my Grandma's place..
It wasn't until a few years back before I realised about the severity of gambling...
Because of my life experiences, I'm quite $$ sensitive.. and as you know, gambling involved $$.. sometimes very big amount..
I guess that's why gambling tops my list..
Even then, I don't entirely hate gambling.. even myself, I do dabble in some form of gambling such as buying 4D, playing blackjack.. What I don't like is the mentality behind the gambling.. is it for leisure/entertainment or it is a livelihood? It is fine to gamble... as long as one plays within his/her means..
But sadly.. for some people, what may starts as a leisure, becomes a livelihood and then the amount spiraled out of control.. What is even more sad is when it spiraled out of control, innocent parties may get suck into the twister...
In the end, what is left behind of the twister will be nothing but a trail of broken stuff (and hearts?)..
Remember the advertisement of the father asking for piggy bank $$ of the little girl?
I really hope that nobody I know of, will become either one of the characters in the ad...

A Wet Morning...
Why does it has to start POURING at 7 am in the morning.????!

The rain was so heavy that I was drenched from waist to toe!
But I should also be glad that the rain started just before I stepped out of my door..I will be damm sian if i got caught in the storm without an umbrella! #_#

Onigiri
Brian bought back some onigiri from Japan for me yesterday... He searched the whole narita airport to finally get onigiri! haha! Thank you Beee!
I love love the onigiri there! But it can be kept for 24 hours b4 it will goes bad...
Felt super sianz after i reached home and then realised that i left the onigiris at his place..! =(
BOOOOOOO!!
Wonder can it still be eaten later tonight... hmmm...

On a Shoestring Budget
Overspent this month... =(
Juz pay off my credit card bill last week and left with around $500 to tahan me till the next payday.... Sigh~!
Somemore went shopping with Lisa on Friday... Didn't plan to buy anything but ended up getting a few items.. But its all so cheap and good bargains!!
1 dinner dress for $28, 1 shirt and 1 skirt for $50 ($25 each!) and 1 pair of shoe for $17.90! Also got a very nice top for $41..not much discount for this one.. but but its very nice leh..! =P
Wonder can still go for the cruise trip anot.. Hmmm...
anyway... no more shopping for me till i recover from my Japan trip expenses! Blehh!
