Interesting lecture!
Today's lecture was very interesting... mayb bcoz it's by a guest lecturer... haha...
but this is the 1st lecture for the module that I don't feel that tired... (or partly bcoz of the fact that i know i'm on leave tmr???)
anyway.. the lecture is about the "Culture of Contentment" (but the topic on the lecture note is diff thou...hmmm) & the lecturer used the Gay/Lesbian committees in SG as the case study, which are V interesting! :p
2 interesting points that I learned from the lecture: "The Creative Class" & "Normal-isation"
Apparently a researcher had proven that, a city has a high amount of Rock Bands & Gay committees, which is refered to by the "Creative Class", is a Rich city! Rich as in $$$!
Wow!
does it mean that if a city which want to boost their economy should promote gay committees???

"Normal-isation" would mean that an ideology has been implanted deeply into the peoples' mind till it seem the natural way of life...
seem abit chim? but I don't really know how to simplify my explanation...hmmm..
going off to slep liao...tmr still got to wake up and work on the presentation which is due on Saturday! sigh!
hopefully we can do a good one for this module!

i need to rest!
the intensive module is killing me slowly..... i think i'm similar to a zombie liao....
n worse... i keep making mistakes at work! not major mistakes but mistakes tt make me do additional works so as to un-do it....
becoming more blur den always! sianz..
although i do think tt the current module is interesting...but i cant wait for the 2 weeks to pass..!
i need my beauty sleep!
i think the lack of sleep hav also given me pimples too....sianzzzzzzzzzzzz!!

Sunday @ Vivo
went to the PF at Vivo on Sun for the combat class.... although Vivo is the largest mall in town... the PF branch there is the smallest of all branches... Ha! but it do have a fantastic sea view! it will be nice to try out the outdoor Morning Yoga Patio class..... think it will be refreshing....
went walking around Vivo after the class.... Vivo is super duper crowded there lo!! every singaporeans seem to be there.... super sianz lo... i was mentioning to charles tt the outdoor kids' playground almost looked like a scene taken from somewhere in India...! it really was damm crowded!!!
another thing, the toilets in the mall sux big time...! it's really dirty & I can't find any soap dispenser to wash my hands with! Zen mentioned tt it's the 1st time that he saw such a dirty shopping centre toilet... can fight with the hawker centre toilets lo! super turn-off!
I guess the only attraction for me there is the view..... the view is really nice!

took it while having our dinner at the Swensen's restaurant there.... :)
