AA 1st meeting & Art of Voice
Went for my 1st AA (Alcoholic Angels) club meeting last Fri at Velvet.... keke...
It was a last min decision.... Initially planned to go home and rest coz I got to wake up early for a free talk next day at Bouna Vista... plus the fact that I was super broke... After paying my last sem sch fees... don't really have the extra $$ to go drinking.....
BUT in the end got "psycho-ed" by the AA chairman...... She agreed to help signed me in first.... & I pay her after the pay is in.... & they So all I got to pay is my taxi fare home! Good deal rite! Hee! *thanks Jen!*
Tried Henessy Green Tea which was the other 2 AA fav drink.... But definitely not mine.... It juz give me a puky feeling..... *bleh* To me it taste the same as Whisky Green Tea mayb slightly milder.... but the 2 other AA insisted tt its a more classy drink den Whisky green tea.... Haha..
Anyway I have had enough of the drink after ard 10 sips of it...... & we ordered peach martini which was V NICE!! I was craving for some chocolate martini but too bad velvet dun have it..... :(
After the martini, we have Apple shooter & a glass of champage (courtesy of Sharon's ex classmate), one Bailey with milk (redeemed using 2 of my house pour coupon) and a Volka lime (courtesy of another Sharon's old sch mates)
The apple shooter is damm nice too!!
How come all nice drinks come in such a small glass...... its all gone in a few sec!! >.< but mayb it wun taste as nice as it is if it come in a bigger glass.... hmmmm
We did have a good time there.... *psst! Chairman, I enjoyed myself ok! * the music is ok...the crowd is quite classy in my opinion....initially feel abit out of place...but after awhile its ok... so guess I will be going again la... hehe..
Btw...I think velvet got alot of eye candies! spot a number of cuties there..... kekeke...
we left the place after 3pm.... n I only got abt 2.5 hrs of sleep b4 I need to wake up for the free talk....! *gawd* luckily the talk is quite interesting if not I would have major trouble keeping awake.....
The talk is organised by NACLI (National Community Leadership Institute) with Art of Voice, the company set up by Venette Lopez & Jessica Seet which specialise in voice training... sound interesting rite!
the NACLI campus is located at a super ULU place lor! we end up taking cab in from Queenstown mrt..... but the campus looks really nice! almost feel like a resort....haha....
Anyway the talk is quite fun and informative.. telling us the importance of our voicebox and hw to take care of it etc...
but feel tt the talk is too brief..... if want to learn more got to sign up their Voice Spa package which cost a whooping $200 for only 4 hrs! *fainted* so x!!
afternote of the talk: What kind of impression of me does my voice leave?? hmmm.... can anyone tell me??
