My 1st F1 experience
Brian got free ticket to the practice sessions on Friday..and it is really an eye-opener for the two of us!
The race cars are SO FAST that people have difficulties trying to catch them with the normal camera... Its a good thing that they need to race for more den just 1 round.. so there is ample chances to try to take photograph es..hehehe..
Our tickets are for the Bay Grandstand seats.. but we decided to walk around the circuit for the 2nd Practice Session instead of staying at the Grandstand..
Got a bad experience with the crowd control at the Bay Grandstand thou.. when they break after the 1st Practice Session.. With 32,000 people for that Grandstand, the authorities should have look into having a few exits for Better Crowd Control.. It was really a bad jam during the break.. =( Which is one of the reason we didn't went back to the Grandstand..
The good thing about the Grandstand is that it has large TV screen to see the whole race event... whereas for walkabout area, there were no screens at all.. However walkabout area allow you to see the cars closer up when they race passed!
The F1 cars are DEAFENING!!! Lucky my boss gave me an ear plug on Friday..But poor Brian got to suffer the full impact of the deafening roar of the cars when they raced past.. =P Nevertheless, there is something about the sound of the F1 cars that excites people.. Brian wasn't that interested in the F1 race until we reached the race venue and heard the cars.. hahaha!

Caught the Qualifying and Final race at Brian's place.. and the Final race is really quite exciting!
