A Tai Tai Weekend!
In view of XH winning a weekend stay at Conrad and we at the loss of what to get for each other.. we decided to juz have a tai tai weekend lifestyle to pamper ourselves for our birthdays! Haha!
Conrad really is a great place to stay in! Feel that their services are comparable to Ritz standard... and the room is really really nice!! Reminds me of the Cayman islands days... hahaa!
After checking in the hotel, we check out the pool area.. the pool is not very big.. but they provides pool towels and drinks.. so nice! Actually I wonder if non-guests can just walk in and use the pool as there doesn't seem to have any people checking..Hmmm..
Went for the Red Wine Manicure and Pedicure Spa at Hollywood Nails (Suntec) after the short swim.. Find their services quite good..and the place is quite comfy! Really do feel like tai tais.. lolz! In the end, chris and me share to sign up a very worth package deal with them..hehe..
Had Cheese Fondue for dinner at Swiss Culture..its an interesting experience! But the cheeese Fondue feels abit "jer-lat" after awhile...but their foods are not bad.. mayb next time can try the Swiss Choc Fondue.. heheh.. and The very nice lady gave us a 10% disc and membership cards for all of us at the end of the dinner!! so nice!
After dinner, we walked over to Marina Square GV for our movie "He is just not that into you".. its the 1st time that I experienced stuff-ness inside MS cinema! usually the aircon blasts like free lor.. Dunno wat happened to it.. anyway, the movie is quite funny.. although i find part of the ending abit weird..but its quite a good girls-night-out show.. =)
Had a treat in the morning with Breakfast at Oscars... surprised me when we got to queue to get a table at 9+ am! and the buffet is only till 10.30am.. so early! The spread is quite good..but lucky thing is the hotel did not charge us for an additional breakfast! hehehe! Saved $30+! =P
It was a good weekend stay! Maybe can do something similar again for next year birthdays.. more meaningful then just getting vouchers for each other! =D
