The Cove
Been wanting to blog about this weeks ago.. but was too busy with the Taiwan trip and boss's travelling schedule.. Finally got time to do it now..
Anyway initially I was undecided whether to catch the movie anot.. I'm afraid that it will be too traumatising or heavy for me... But I'm glad I did went ahead to watch it..
It is a realistic movie/documentary on the cruel and mindless slaughter of dolphins..I never thought dolphins are slaughtered and worst, sold as food - which is not edible due to the high mercury content!! To capture dolphins for commercial uses, I can understand.. but to capture and slaughter them, I can't understand why in the world they do that??!what can they get out of that??
And the people still got the cheek to say that they are getting rid of PEST! Saying that the dolphins are the cause of the dwindling fish supply.. Simply Ridiculous! Pot calling kettle black lor.. cannot believe this people! Pissed!
Was seated next to 2 little girls.. initially was puzzled why the father brought them to such a heavy movie.. but maybe kids being kids, they didn't seem too saddened or traumatised by the way the dolphins died.. although they keep asking their daddy why the people are killing the dolphins.. haha! Guess the show is good for educating kids..
I'm glad that I have seen dolphins in the wild.. Must remember to avoid going for dolphins show now onwards...
