To the Gym or not?
Have been missing classes for almost 2 weeks.. due to my sore throat and cough.. =(
Sore throat is almost gone but I'm still having the cough.. sianz
Thinking whether when is it fine for me to get back to my gym class.. hmm..
According to an article I found online.. Seems like I should not... hmmm..
"If you have a persistent or hacking cough or if you're coughing up mucus, your breathing and lung capacity may be diminished. This indicates you may have an infection in your airways, and exercise should be avoided...... .......There is an easy rule to follow when it comes to determining whether or not to exercise when you're sick. If your symptoms occur above the neck, such as watery eyes, sneezing, stuffy nose and scratchy throat, then moderate activity may not be detrimental. However, if your symptoms occur below the neck, as in coughing, fever, muscle aches or nausea, it is best to wait until the symptoms are completely gone before engaging in workout activity."

So... is gym off for today again? =(
